	Started a few years ago, it is the sport of the moment-the ideal combination between paragliding and windsurfing. It was launched at Garda by one of the world-wide windsurfing myths, the American Robby Naish, who tested all his products here. The board used is shorter than the one normally used for windsurfing, but the "driving force" is still the wind, which is harnessed in a kite that is actually a small paraglider. Today there are numerous kitesurfing enthusiasts, especially in the Malcesine area, where there is a club dedicated to it: www.kitesurfingclub.com.
